When RaeAnn Grows Up...

March 2012 - After being told twice in a week that she was really smart by strangers she decided she is smart enough to be President!
She also thinks it would be cool to be on Fashion police or the tooth fairy!

January 2012 - She wants to be a scientist or a Doctor...but a doctor "isn't a scientist and she really likes science" (I tried to explain that a doctor uses science, but she wouldn't believe me)

December 2011 - After getting a pretend Barbie video camera and microphone for Christmas RaeAnn wants to be a news reporter on The Today Show...she would make her momma proud!

August 2011 - After seeing The Smurfs at the movie theater and noticing the projector at the back of the theater RaeAnn decided she would like to be a Movie "Director" she said the director is the one who runs the projector and she wants Thurman to take the tickets at the door and I can pass out popcorn ...glad to see she's looking out for the rest of us!

RaeAnn: mom do you see this?
Me : your hamper?
RaeAnn: Yes! and do you see what's in it?
Me : dirty clothes...
RaeAnn : Yes!!! Do you think you do some laundry!?Geesh!!

I was trying to make RaeAnn guess that I had signed her up for swim class. & I told her it's a type of school in a special place...she really wasn't catching on...so asked her if she knew what P-O-O-L spelled and she said "TV?" She kills me.

Getting out of the car today and I told RaeAnn she needed to help me carry some things in she huffed and puffed about it then said "I wish you were a spider, so you could carry everything in yourself."

I was going over RaeAnn's school calendar with her and said "oh cool you're going to have a hip hop dance class this month!" and RaeAnn excitedly asked, "is the Easter bunny going to be there?!?!" She was pretty disappointed when I said no.

When RaeAnn saw Despicable Me she thought the bomb beds Gru had for the girls were so cool! Tonight out of no where she kept telling me she really wants bomb beds with a ladder and everything, I was SO confused until I realized she was talking about BUNK BEDS!! Dur Mom!!!

After telling her to clean up her room for the fifth time yesterday RaeAnn told me she was going to run away from home...Here's how the conversation played out....

RaeAnn : Mom, I can't stand you!!!!! I'm running away from home!!!!
Mom : OK, where are you going to go?
RaeAnn : West Virginia
Mom : how are you going to get there? It's pretty far ya know.
RaeAnn : well I'm gonna walk, but when I get tired I'm going to come back home and get a water and then I'm gonna leave again

Good idea RaeAnn, have fun with that!
